Hit The Road Son: The Arabic Hitchhiker Song

By religion and tradition, Arabs and Muslims are meant to be kind to the wayfarer so hitchhiking might work out in this part of the world. I do know if this was planned but the song is about a man who is longing for the homeland. He is living on the road, and hitching rides on his way.

It's an OK song, sadder what I can process. But it's a change. It aired on ART years ago, I think Asmail Al-Balbesy is Egyptian. These kinds of song are popular with young people who like to sit together feeling sorry for themselves.
